I know that when a situation arises which involves the need for a return or refund, it can often be quite frustrating or stressful. Rest assured that I will do my absolute best to always make sure you’re satisfied with your experience here at Nostalgia Video. Each situation regarding a return or refund is almost always a little different. But, to clarify some of the most common return & refund situations, please reference the policies below: 

RETURNS & REFUNDS

*The return/refund window will be open for 30 days beginning on the day the item is delivered to your address. An item will not be eligible for a return/refund past this 30 day window.

 

1. Confusion over custom VHS tapes: Every now and then I’ll receive an email from a buyer stating that the movie featured on the front cover of the custom VHS tape is not what’s actually on the tape itself. Please note, the actual movie is NOT on the tape itself. All custom tapes are sold merely as display pieces. The tape you receive may have an older, random movie on it, or, it may be blank. However, each tape is ensured to be long enough to hold the movie associated with the custom VHS, so if you’d like to transfer it on for yourself at some point, you absolutely can!

 

For returns pertaining to this misunderstanding, the buyer will be required to pay the return shipping, provide a return tracking number, and a refund will be issued to the initial method of payment once the item is returned. *Item must be returned undamaged/in the same condition it was shipped in for the refund to be granted.

 

2. Item arrives damaged to the buyer: If your item arrives damaged in some way, please do not hesitate to reach out immediately so that an appropriate action can be taken to make it right. The buyer will be required to provide sufficient pictures/videos of the damaged item(s), to ensure the damage is legitimate.

 

3. Incorrect/Insufficient addresses: All shipping labels are automatically generated using the shipping address entered by the buyer. If there is insufficient information provided, or a mismatch of information regarding the address entered, several attempts will be made to contact the buyer in order to verify their address.

 

If the buyer does not respond, the order will be shipped to the address provided at checkout. Nostalgia Video is not responsible for a package that is not delivered to the buyer if the buyer’s address was entered incorrectly/insufficiently at checkout.

 

4. Standard returns: If you would like to return your order, or a portion of your order just due to general dissatisfaction, the buyer is required to pay the return shipping, and a refund will be issued to the original method of payment once the items are returned. *Items must be returned undamaged/in the same condition they were shipped in for a refund to be issued.
